It is also used for statistical analysis and for the continual optimisation of our content. Typical log files contain the date and time of access, the data quantity, the browser and browser version, the operating system used, the domain name of your service provider, the site previously visited (referrer URL) and your IP address. Facebook plug-in
On our website, you will find plug-ins for the social media network Facebook. The provider is Facebook Inc., which is based in the USA, California 94025, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park. The Facebook plug-ins on our website are easily identifiable by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button. Please also see the overview of the Facebook plug-ins here. When you visit our website, we establish a direct connection to the Facebook server via the plug-in. You are then connected with the server via your browser. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. By clicking the Facebook “Like” button, you link content of our website to your Facebook profile. Facebook can then assign the visit to our website to your user account. We have no knowledge of the nature of the content transmitted to Facebook or how Facebook uses this content. You can prevent your visit to our website being assigned to your Facebook profile by simply logging off from your Facebook account beforehand.

Google AdWords
On our website, we use Google AdWords, an online advertising program from Google Inc., which also employs conversion tracking. With the help of this tool, Google AdWords stores a cookie on your PC when you access our website via a Google advertisement. The cookie becomes invalid after 30 days. It cannot be traced back to a specific person. If you visit our website as a user while the cookie is still active, we and Google can see that you have clicked the corresponding advertisement and been forwarded to our website. Every Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies are therefore not traceable via the websites of the AdWords customers. The data recorded via the conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers. We as customers then receive information on the total number of visitors who responded to our advertisement and were then transferred to a website equipped with a conversion tracking tag. We receive no information during this process which would allow us to identify you personally as a user. If you object to the tracking procedure, you can deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser. If necessary, use the help function of your browser to obtain further information. You can find out more about the Google Privacy Policy here.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. This service employs cookies. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address abbreviated after being transmitted to the USA. Google evaluates the information and uses it to provide further services for website operators such as ourselves. The identified IP address is not merged with any other Google services. You can prevent cookies being stored on your computer by changing your browser settings. However, this may restrict your access to certain content and functions when using our website. Furthermore, a browser plug-in prevents the capture and use of the data generated by the cookies. You can download the plug-in here.
